the fun thing about the vastness of skyrim is that every new save you make is unique in its own way! for example my current save likes to crash whenever i cross a stone bridge. i can go UNDER the bridge. or next to it. those things just do not like my gay little elf feet touching them directly

So the lighting in FFXIV makes it really hard to tell skintones apart sometimes, I feel like it drops the contrast on a lot of the mid-to-light tones so you can’t easily differentiate in screenshots? I was having a lot of “that can’t be right” moments looking at screenshots while trying to draw my character next to NPCs that I was pretty sure were lighter than them, so I decided fuck it I’ll map out NPC skintones to the character creator palettes so I can tell how far apart different characters ought to be. More notes and also Viera/Hrothgar under the cut so this doesn’t get too long:
